Jackson Hole Moose

Valentine's weekend was filled with passion for hockey. The team traveled to Jackson, Wyoming to face the Jackson Hole Moose. Friday night, the Bravest played a strong defense. The score was two to two. After mid-way through the third period, the Bravest experienced a defeat that night. The ending score being five to two. Saturday night was an intense match of three versus three. Scoring in overtime, the Bravest won with the score being three to two. Both nights the Bravest had four penalties each with a total of ninety one shots on the goalie. Previously, this event used to be the fireman's gala, now it's a game of the fireman's brawl. This top senior team in the country faces off with the Bravest to help support the Jackson Hole fire department. The proceeds go towards advancing training, volunteer and career incentives as well as the Fallen Firefighters Fund for full-time and volunteer members of the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Department. Next up for the team is the Southern Ontario Firefighters Hockey League tournament from February 26th to the 27th.
