A One-of-a-Kind Piece of FDNY Hockey History
One lucky supporter will have the opportunity to receive this game-worn FDNY goalie mask, worn by FDNY goalie Nick Battaglia during the 2026 FDNY vs. NYPD hockey game. The mask will also return to the ice for the upcoming FDNY vs. NYPD hockey game in April 2027, adding to its history and significance. But this is more than just a piece of hockey equipment. Every contribution helps support 9/11 first responders.
This custom FDNY goalie mask features a design inspired by the iconic New York Rangers goaltender Mike Richter. Including a classic Liberty Head displayed on the top. “FDNY” is prominently displayed on both sides in bold lettering. A “343” tribute shield on the chin, honoring the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11/01. The backplate includes a special 9/11/01 remembrance patch along with the numbers of FDNY hockey team members who we lost due to the events on 9/11/01
All of the funds raised through this fundraiser will benefit the Ray Pfeifer Foundation. The Ray Pfeifer Foundation’s” mission is to assist with medical needs not covered by insurance for 9/11 first responders. Your support helps provide assistance to those who answered the call on September 11, 2001, and continue to deal with the lasting effects of their service.

Team News
Valentine's weekend was filled with passion for hockey. The team traveled to Jackson, Wyoming to face the Jackson Hole Moose. Friday night, the Bravest played a strong defense. The score was two to two. After mid-way through the third period, the Bravest experienced a defeat that night. The ending score being five to two. Saturday night was an intense match of three versus three. Scoring in overtime, the Bravest won with the score being three to two. Both nights the Bravest had four penalties each with a total of ninety one shots on the goalie. Previously, this event used to be the fireman’s gala, now it's a game of the fireman's brawl. This top senior team in the country faces off with the Bravest to help support the Jackson Hole fire department. The proceeds go towards advancing training, volunteer and career incentives as well as the Fallen Firefighters Fund for full-time and volunteer members of the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Department. Next up for the team is the Southern Ontario Firefighters Hockey League tournament from February 26th to the 27th.

This weekend, the team faces off with the Boston Gold Kings. Puck drops at 7:20pm at the Aviator Sports and Events center, located in Brooklyn on Saturday January 17th. Donations from this event will directly go to the foundation.
Leading into Valentine's Day, the team travels to Jackson Hole to battle the Jackson Hole Moose, the top senior team in the country, at the Snow King Sports Events & Center. What was once known as the Jackson Hole Fire Department Ball is now a fundraiser hockey match. Games take place on February 13th and February 14th, both start at 7:00pm.
At the end of February, the Bravest will compete in the 50th Annual Southern Ontario Firefighters Hockey League. The competitive spirit does not stop for the Bravest. On March 6th and on March 7th, they face the Sun Valley Suns. The fundraiser event is for a local Sun Valley firefighter battling cancer.
Battle of the Badges will then wrap up the season for the Bravest on March 29th, 1:30pm at UBS Arena. An extra game will take place for the G2H foundation, honoring Gerrin Hagen on April 11th. With a new website design and merchandise in stock to help fundraise, the Bravest will take on this season with its known fighting spirit.
